As you can see, I experienced violence and gun control from both ends of the barrel, one might say. And of course, I grew up to be a strong believer in the personal right to self defense, especially as I spent my childhood in the Berlin equivalent of the Bronx. Now for Colorado and the US gun control laws in regard to schools:

No stats, but I have never heard of any Israeli kid comming to school and shooting up the place! You could say it's cultural but with armed security gaurds and teachers it's just not practical, even from a psychopath's stand point!

Rather than train the teachers to shoot, they should train their soldiers to teach...
