Is this the "right" order?

Is it, .17, .22, .25,.32, .38,.380, 9mm, .10mm .40, .357 .44 .45 ? Thanks

In barrel size 9mm comes before .38 (actually .357), 10mm and 40cal are the same. If you mean case size that alters things a little. For instance 10mm is bigger than 40 cal. The .380 at .355 comes before 9mm.

What does a .17 look like anyway? What kind of weapon shoots it? This is a BB Gun caliber isn't it?

theres the 17 hmr newer rimfire..the 17 hornet...those are two that i know of for sure...and yes alot of BB guns shoot the .177 caliber pellets

17HMR Is a .22 Mag necked down to .17 cal. .17HM2 is a necked down
.22LR. I've also heard of .17 Remington.

I just bought a Savage .17hmr last year and it is a great little gun for varmints, i know this is the wrong forum/thread for this but it is great for just about anything coyote size and smaller. Packs more punch than a .22lr and has a better range and accuracy.
