Think I already know the answer....just got back from an (un-named) store and found 4000 bench rest primers, and a couple 8# jugs of powder.

I would pay those prices. I usually give 30/1k primers (CCI). Powder is 20/lb. I'd say it is a good buy.

Maybe inflated primer prices haven't hit up here in Vermont but I'm paying betwen 20 and 25 for primers depending on the brand. Of course this is WHEN my "local" shop has them. The other day I spent 21 for 1000 winchester WLR. Powder is still around $20.

I've been getting those same primers in MI for $18. That powder for @ $129.
