Is Springfield Armory making the M-1 Garand?

I saw an ad a while back about Springfield making new M-1 Garands. Is that project still in the works? Also, would they be worth getting?

I saw a Springfield Armory ad in Shotgun News for their M1 carbine. However, I can't find any mention of it on their website.

I believe they are tooling up to make the M1 Garand. They have offered some newly manufactured M1 parts in ads in the Shotgun News.

Springfield must have canned the idea , back about November they were giving a spring 2000 delivery on the carbine . They were supposed to make the recievers and use new military parts for the rest . Mike...

I wish someone would make a run of M1s chambered for .357magnum. Ideal LEO longarm.
