Is it possible to replace the rubber bumper pads with a flat steel base like traditional magazines? I don't need the bumper, don't like the way they look, and they don't fit my mag pouches. But I sure like the way they work!
Is there 2 screws holding the pad on to the base?
If so, remove the screws. You will have 2 holes in the base.
I have seen some that were glued on by the enduser. If thats the case,
peel off pad, clean, be happy!
If you look closely, you will see that the "bumper pad" actually IS the base of the magazine, sliding on and off. Wilson will sell you a thin metal base but it will not be completely flush with the butt of the gun.
