I buy both 9mm and 40 here in Tampa at a very similar price...was at the range Father's day with pops and bought 9mm $14/50 rounds FMJ's and $18/50 rounds of 40S&W FMJ's...American Eagle ammo

Pasco/Hernando county Florida Wal-marts are running approx $10.00 / 50 of WWB/Blazer Brass for 9mm and $12.50 / 50 of either Blazer/Federal(same sku) .40 S&W and $29.99 / 100 WWB of .40 S&W. So for me no, 40 is still running more than 9mm. Ammo prices @ gunshops/gun shows, off the charts crazy... I've seen $29.99 50ct boxes of American Eagle FMJ's, $40.00 50ct boxes of .380 auto rem FMJ's, and Speer JHP's a wopping $47.00 for a 20ct.

I was @ walmart the other day & bought 100 rounds 9mm wwb fmj for $19.99 & bought 100 rounds 40 s&w fmj wwb for like $29 a box so I think its just u. :D

Wife was at Wal-Mart eariler this week and hey had Blazer brass 50rd boxes...
9mm is $8.97
40 S&W is $11.97

Unless you reload thats about as cheap as your going to get it.

I just had to rant about this.

Went to Gander Mountain today... their ammo shelf that was empty a week ago is now almost fully stocked! Saw some 100 rnd. "bulk pack" Remington .40 S&W. Don't recall the gain, but it's FMJ stuff. Asked the guy to scan it for me and tell me the price. $65!!!! I got 100 rounds of Winchester White Box bulk at Wally World last weekend for $28, and Gander wants $65? Give me a break. Little upset that Gander would do that.
