Is anyone else waiting for XDm in 9mm or 45ACP?

I know the XDm has its detractors, but there are some other who like it.

Who else is waiting for the XDm in 9mm or 45 ACP?

Sounds like a 9mm may not be too far off, and worth the wait for those wanting it. I like the .40SW, and am about ready to add the XDM40 to my modest collection.

I heard it wasn't coming until next year.

The XDm is still so new that it has teething problems.

ive got a XD45c and a XD9sc...... will probably pick up a XDM in 9mm if they come out with one.

I've got an XD45 and an XD9 V-10. No plans for replacing either of them anytime soon.

Waiting for the 9mm

I heard the XDm 9mm may be here in September (this month). Springer's home page is teasing a new XDm...
That may be my first pistol if it does arrive soon. Just waiting to get home from my deployment to give my money over to Beretta, S&W, or Springfield!

Haven't heard any "detractors"...just some that think the price increase over the very reliable XP, isn't worth it. I can't wait to try one.

I'm waiting for them to downsize it a bit; it's too big for my needs.

A tad too long and tall. Would like it better w a 4 inch bbl and a shorter mag/grip. Not too small; don't need a subcompact either.

In fact, all I really want is a XD that takes down like an XDM (no need to pull trigger).
