The wife and I play a similar game with poker cards(not using face cards) placing the numbered cards randomly on the target board taking 5 shots to hit 4 cards like all the 2's or 7's and the first to hit 4 cards in 4 shots gets to call the other shooter number. We are both somewhat new to shooting and helps us to keep our fundamentals somewhat sharp and make our rounds count which helps our ammo budget lol.
