Import HK receiver?

I'm looking at the June 21, 1999 edition of SGN and on page 85, Inter Ordnance (704)225-8843 advertises:

Has anyone seen one of these or know anything about them? I was looking into assembling an HK on a Hesse Arms HK receiver, but was thoroughly unimpressed with their effort.

Is this the real deal for a mere $70 more than the Hesse mess?

Don't know about the quality, but this sounds like something you need to carefully assemble to avoid the dreaded post-ban evilgun problem.
