Oh, wow!

Some of the brand names may differ -- but oh how well I remember.

In primary (elementary?) school, I was the school champion marble player. We played in the dirt next to the boys' toilet block. I had won over a 1 000 marbles one year. Just remembered. I used to keep 'em in an old biscuit tin. I dropped them one day when the bell went, and 20 boys converged on the spoils, yelling "Grab and run!".

Took me weeks, but I won 'em back. :D

Went to my old school the other day. Well, it's a shopping mall now -- and there's a bank right over where I played marbles all those years ago. I wonder if there's still some "doogs" buried under the concrete?

Thank you for the memories!!
