I shot a 3-gun match yesterday. I can shoot with the top guys but I'm old and slow, both moving and loading.
But I shoot for fun. It is a lot of fun. Been shooting with that club for years. when they throw in the time I'm normally in the bottom half.
So they post the results on that with practiscore (which I don't understand).
Over all, again I'm in the bottom half.
BUT: Looking at the classes, I won my class.
SUPER SENIOR????? I was the only one in that class so I won. I thought it was a joke (great bunch of guys running the club) but later I search the USPSA rules and find out 65+ is SUPER SENIOR. I'm 68, I was shooting there well before I turned 65, but this is the first time they listed the SUPER SENIOR CLASS.
Maybe they feel sorry for me.
Doesn't matter. They don't give awards anyway. The $5 entry fee goes to buy more targets and target maintenance. I'd rather see that.

My favorite shooting is the CMP GSM's vintage rifle games. Don't think you can skate do to age in the CMP games. The largest classes there are Senior and Super Senior and those old boys can shoot.
