I went to the range today

Here's the results. I fired 30 rounds out of my MIL-PRO 40 and the XD 40, 60 rounds total. I had a pretty good day with both guns. The distance was 40 feet.

In general how do you like your xd, i just bought the xd9 and i will get it in 7 to 10 days. I heard alot of good things about it and the price is right but the only thing that scares me is the finish on the slide.

Hey hog, I've had ZERO problems with my XD, 500 rounds of FMJ through it so far. I've had NO rust on the slide, never been a problem for me. I just wipe it down with a silicone cloth about once a week. I bought my XD back in 2002, I love it. The gun fits my hand really nice, it dampens the 40 recoil, and its accurate. I give this gun two thumbs up, way up.

Good to hear i can't wait. Your right when i pick it up it fit my hand perfect.It's one of the best feeling gun i ever picked up. I knew i had to have one..
