I picked up a Walther P1 9MM

A friend and I went shooting today. Burned up several boxes of ammunition. We went into the shop to purchase some boxes of 9MM. I eyed a German P1 alloy frame 9MM. The price wasn't terrible. The numbers matched, two magazines and a F&B 10/62 dated police holster was $317.95 complete. Black composite grip/backstrap, blued/anodized finish and a white dot front sight. S/N 3762XX BW A rather nice double action pistol. I do feel like I should eat some summer sausage though. A Tyrolean hat maybe?

A postwar P-38 was my first gun! Alas, I sold it to get something more practical, a Sig P226R. I still miss it though. If you want some good info on them, try http://www.p38forum.com/ Orv really knows his stuff.
