I need help fast!

I'm talking with a guy here about trading a bow for a pistol. he's in Fl and I'm in GA. We're within driving distance and I know that it's a no-no to transfer FTF interstate.

how would one go about this? Could he come into town and bring the gun to a gun shop and they transfer it to me?

Yes. The handgun must be transferred via a FFL in your state. He can bring it with him, take it to the FFL. He can ship it to the FFL. He can have a FFL in Florida ship it to the FFL in Georgia.
