I love Sig 220's. The one I have is my favorite gun.

I worry about Sig in general, reading the comments on this board, but the 220's are fantastic and I am considering get one of the stainless elite models.

I have had my P220 for a decade now. I had the P226 5 years prior to that and still have a 228. I have always loved the old P220 series. When I saw the HK45 I had to get one. Before I put the first rounds thru the HK45, I had Bill Springfield do an accuracy package with trigger job. The HK45 shot superbly. Both pistols shoot accurately. I prefer it to the Sig 220 because of the cocked and locked capability, but the P220 will always have a place in my collection.

Carried one 'on the job' for years, 1st one was a Browning BDA. My current P220 now wears a Surefire light as my bedside gun.

SIGs have been the most accurate production guns, right out of the box, I have owned.
