I got a Taurus 22lr, Model 96 for X-mas. :)
Of course I got it for myself. I always get what I want that way. ;)

Does anyone else have one of these? I haven't shot it yet, but it is very tight, with a very nice trigger.

Any input is welcome, thanks,

I have one, but I have never shot it enough to know it's capabilities. Good trigger, good lock-up, the forcing cone looks a little rough. Brand new, mine cost much less than a well used S&W. For real target work, I would still rely on my Ruger MarkII Government Target. It can easily knock over 12 gauge empties at 25 yards or tear the X-ring out of a target!

I too have a Mk II and it is a great shooter.
I got the revolver just to have a 22lr revolver and I only paid $160 for it.
It is a 6" bbl version so it should be good for a few things including teaching my kids how to shoot. :D
