Hypocrite Celebrities and Politicians

Taking a cue from Kodiak, we all know of local politicians and celebrities who rally around the banner of gun control. Yet, these very same self-serving folks have access to private firearms. Why not share what you know about the hypocrite in your area?

For starters, how about Calif. Senator Diane Feinstein who use to have two guns on her CCW, relinquished one as a gesture encouraging disarmament, kept the other and got herself sworn in as a Dep. Fed. Marshal so she can pack without a CCW.

And she's killed one man by blowing him (read my entry under Kodiak's topic on celebrities).

OK, air the laundry, cry havoc and let loose the skeletons!

Back in the 80's in Minneapolis, there was a Chief of Police by the name of Tony Bouza (later ran for Senator in the 90's but luckily got no where). Bouza was vehemently against guns (handguns particularly). Yet of the few people granted CCWs in the city, his wife (and possibly his daughter) were given them because they were jewelry designers and thus had materials of large value upon their persons. Sound hypocritical? Well, this guy didn't believe the city had a gang problem (it was "large numbers of young people running around without purpose") and had the police department ignore it. The 90's came in and Minneapolis saw (and still sees) evidence of gang violence that supposedly doesn't exist.

The Divine Right Of Kings...
We, the hairy and unwashed masses, shouldn't question the actions of our leaders - they work so hard for US

Hypocracy knows no bounds.
Ads in the papers do not cost all that much... You can take out a full page ad in bold print and Publish these hypocracies... Just for fun. Have your gun club contribute a few bucks per member and put that ad out there and demand the creep to explain why gun s are good enough to protect his family, but not my family. Have him explain THAT. Have him explain why he expects US to live under the protection of the FEW police officers, and he can scoff at law enforcement and protect himself? Have him explain why HIS wife is more worthy of protection than YOUR wife.
Then have him detail how much TRAINING they have had in the SAFE USE of the GUN and what safety measures they have for the gun. Oh, and verify the claim if they say they took a class... That could be another subject for a seperate ad!

Be aggressive. Keep THEM on the defensive.

Mod1- That gang story sounds familar, for years nashville has had "groups of unruly youth"... We even have Asian Youth groups and Hispanic youth groups, Youth groups with influences from other regions, etc...

We also had several Homicides removed from our list of "approved killings" last year to keep us from breaking the record of violent deaths for the city last year. They removed as many as they could and added the murders to other lists (Domestic Violence took several).

Hypocracy abounds at all levels, the hunter who doesn't think we need handguns, the trap shooter who doesn't think we need "assault rifles" and the celebrity who sees why he should have a weapon for defense, but not the average person.

Merely exposing the contradiction does nothing, because these people have already justified their position to themselves. It is a matter of informing and educating these people who have lost sight of the big picutre and objective justice.

How about this one for hypocrisy: CDC researcher, Dr. Arthur Kellerman, (people who keep guns in their home are 2.7 times more likely to be victims of homicide, etc.) owns guns.
