How to convert a MAC to Sten mags?

Can anyone tell me what is involved in converting a M11 to use Sten magazines? Is it as simple as changing a mag catch, or a bolt? Or does it require welding on a new magazine well? I've searched but can't find a definitive answer. I'm sitting on a box full of Sten magazines and, in true gun junkie fasion, I need to buy a gun to fit them. I know I could use a Sten, but I'm a lefty and I just plain don't like the side-mounted magazine. Any other SMGs that use Sten magazines that anybody can think of?

A number of years back someone made up new mag well housings for the MP40 to use sten mags.

Some of the AR15/M16 9mm conversions use sten mags.
