How To Clean & Maintain 77-357 Rotary Mag.

To clean my 77-357 Rotary Mag. I've tried a Q tip and CLP but I can't get the Q tip in all over. I would rather not take it apart since I have heard that adjusting the spring can be iffy. So I have been thinking about soaking it in mineral spirits. Is this a good idea or will I hurt the plastic? Or, do you have a better way?

don't take the mag apart. it is nothing at all like the 10-22 mag.

I had a lot of feed problems with my 773257 when I got it. thought it might be the mag..took it apart to deburr it..didn't help...the spring is almost impossible to rewind as tight as it was when new. ive tried a lot. cant do it.

if anyone comes up with a way let me in on it cuz I cannot figure it out. it needs to go about 1/2 more a turn than I can make it go and still get it together...

but I did fix my feed problems and even the weaker feeding mag works perfect now
