How to attach GearKeeper on S&W N629-6?

What stocks does your revolver have on it? Most 629-6 revolvers come with black rubber Houge Monogrips and there are lanyard rings available that replace the screw on the bottom of the grip. If you can find a picture of a 629 Trail Boss, you'll be able to see the setup.

I assume your 629 does not have a lanyard loop, and your need is security for a back up revolver, why not attach through the trigger guard. Easy on off and no holes to drill.

This is what the manufacturer said. No salutations no greeting:

You'll most likely have to see a Gunsmith and see if he can install a
lanyard loop on your weapon.

My N-629 has rubber grips and a screw at the bottom....

I just happen to have had this same delema. I solved it like this. Went to the local gun shop... Got a scrapped sling loop, that thingie that comes with houge mono-grips. Put the houge thing in backwards/upside down. It may take a little fiddling but attach the sling loop to the hole now at the bottom of the butt. Attach lanyard to sling loop....

There are some vendors who make a lanyard w/screw to replace your Hogue screw. I can't think of there name now, but I also think one of the custom gun smiths have something like that as well.
