Hi all. I have my Dad's Sears Model 5 (Winchester 150) that is the one I introduce the kids to shooting with. Problem is that it shoots a little high and to the right. The rear buck horn sight won't go any lower so I guess my only option now that I think about it is to replace the front sight with a higher one. Does anyone know if these are replaceable?

The existing front sight still have its bead?
Front sight is dovetailed in. Replacement (for an M150 and M190) runs $13.65 at Gunparts. .360" high. Measured with a Vernier. Assuming you have one.

I don't honestly remember it ever having a bead. Measured with my dial calipers it is .420 from the top of the barrel to the top of the sight. Is that the correct way to measure it?
