How do you guys...

How do you guys, and girls, conceal your handguns? Where do you put it, and in what kind of rig do you carry it? If you have pictures, that would be great. I'm looking for a couple of things. Best way to hide a handgun, and what's comfortable as well. If you have any ideas or pictures, please post them.

I carry three ways.

1- Strong side inside the waist band (w/ un-tucked shirt/jacket.)
Preferred firearm: Kimber Pro CDP

2- Right front pocket, in a pocket holster (dockers, dress pants, etc...)
Preferred firearm: NAA Guardian

3- Inside of my left boot (permanent holster stitched into the boot.)
Preferred firearm: Taurus 617t (7-shot .357mag, Titanium)

No pics, sorry.

Starboard: 1911 in Milt Sparks Executive Companion

Port: 2 spare mags for 1911, Kahr P9 in MS VM behind (on the clock) mags

All carried on Milt Sparks belt (black, of course)

It is very important that your tailor understand your set-up and can adjust your suits to order. Remember, you may want to hide it, but you must be able to access it too!

If I am off-duty I have same weaponry, but dress in Territory Ahead or other yuppie scum gear. My "cover garment" is Columbia rain jacket or Filson coat (the green one I bought at Marshall Field's). In the depths of summer here when the humidity and the temp are both 99, I untuck shirt and wear V neck T-shirt and switch to linen suits.

No pics for me, Rich is worried about federal anti-ugliness statutes.

NAA Guardian in an Uncle Mikes Pocket holster

and always, an NAA Mini Mag in an NAA Pocket holster.

All IWB's worn on left, back hip. Guardian carried in my right front pocket, (I shoot it better with my right hand for some reason), and Mini Mag in my left front pocket.

My primary carry gun is an S&W 042.

Primary carry method is left front pants pocket in a holster.

I occasionally use a fanny pack.

I also carry other firearms in shoulder holsters.

By far, the easiest way is

"Mexican style" for self loader's. I don't recommend carrying
any SA auto's this way, but for slim line DA auto's in
the small of your back, strong side is the way to go. As most
of you know, I carry a Sig P220; and this is my preferred
method of carry. I do not let the firearm rest against my
naked skin; alway's using a tee shirt between myself and
the firearm. It's cheap, virtually unnoticeable, and very
comfortable. I've been doing this since March of 1995, and
my P220 looks brand new. Of course, I give it a lot of TLC.

Best Wishes,
Ala Dan, Life Member N.R.A.

G29, SideArmor IWB w/ J-hooks strong-side @ about 3-4 O'Clock 99% of the time. BellyBand or stuffed into a coat pocket the other times. There's also a Taurus M85 that can go just about anywhere.

If I absolutely can't have a piece on me, it'll be in my briefcase next to me.

IWB @ 4 o'clock
Either Glock 26 or SIG 229 both using Ross leather holsters.

In pocket S&W model 36 j-frame in an Uncle Mike's holster.

The Glock 26 @ 4 o'clock is very comfortable even when driving.

Carry a 342PD .38 in an "Uncle Mike's" pocket holster. Carry it in front right pocket. Looks like my wallet if anyone even notices it at all. I'll sometimes move it to my inside suit jacket pocket or pocket of my overcoat if I am walking to my car after working late. (High crime area).
