This is my post copied from another forum (rimfirecentral).
I was at the Gander Mountain on I59 @ Grand Parkway99 (between Richmond and Sugarland) and found out we can order ammo there at the store. The salesman (Chris, good guy) ordered 20 boxes of the new CCI 22mag w/30 gr V-Max. They will be here in a few days and he is setting aside 3 for me. Y'all can have the rest! It will be $12 a box, which is a tad cheaper than having them shipped to me from the internet. He said they had access to some150something boxes (on the computer). It's not a regular stock item, so he said we have to keep telling him to re-order when they run out. I will post when they are available. Do this at other Gander Mnt's and maybe we can get them to start stocking them here in the Houston area. They have plenty of room on the rimfire shelves.
