Homemade AK receiver question.....

I have an extra homemade AK receiver I was planning on finishing but never got around to it....I don't think I'll ever get around to it. Since I'm not going to use it and I know it's not legal for me to sell it so how bout legally giving it away to someone who will finish the rifle? I really don't wanna destroy it but I'm thinking that's what I'm going to have to do. :(

I would think that gifting (no receipt, etc.) would be acceptable. As I understand the problem, the ATF just doesn't want people in the business of manufacturing under the radar... Maybe I'm wrong... but if you bought it as a flat or 80%, who's going to know what you have done with it?
