I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I recently picked up a 507c V2 MRD. I’m getting odd reflections with the dot on. This isn’t bloom, I have a Type 2 RMR and I’m used to bloom or bleeding from the dot at higher brightness settings. In this case the light seems to be from secondary reflections off of the housing or the glass edge itself. The light starts on the edge of the window and creeps inward towards the main dot. This only happens at the 3 o’clock and 12 o’clock positions (that it’s not uniform is puzzling to me). This is true for any brightness setting over 6, and with 12 settings this means it’s not particularly bright when this is happening.
I contacted Holosun and am waiting for a response, but I know we have people here who use pistol mounted red dots and was wondering if they’d seen it before. I attached a picture, but it’s not easy to capture.
