Has anyone out there tried these grips on this model pistol? What are your likes/dislikes?

Just found out about this grips and am thinking about getting a set for my SP101 .357 with 2 inch barrel. Would like to get info from someone who has used them before taking the plunge.

CT lasergrips....

I got a DA only Ruger SP101 in 1993. I wanted rubber Hogue grips but they were not yet for sale then.
In 2013, I'd look at the cool CT rubber-polymer designs or the Hogue styles. I like wood but rubber may help with your grip/recoil.

I have a Hogue on my 3 inch SP101. It does tame the recoil. It makes the gun a little harder to conceal because of the length of the grip/

In my opinion others experiences with grips are worthless for another individual. Hogue is very popular but they don't fit all hands, like mine. When I got my Ruger Redhawk in .44 mag. I went through about six different grips, including Houges in rubber and wood, before settling on Pachymar Presentations. None fit me except the PPs and I love them. You have to try. Many gun shops have 'try' display models.

I bought the Hogue rubber mono grip for my 6 shot .22lr SP101.
For me it's better than the stock model, I can get all three fingers on it.
But it has a 'round butt' shape to it that I don't care for. I feel like the muzzle droops down when I shoot round butt guns. I like a more square butt feel like the Hogue rubber GP100 grip.

They're also very soft and tacky, so they might not be the best for carry.

My brother has the Hogue grip, I have a CT grip on mine. I'm always jealous when I get to shoot his. The Hogue fits and feels perfect, but I don't want to give up my laser for SD.

Thank you gentlemen. Looks like I will be ordering them and giving them a try.

I know they cost a whole $15!

I got them and liked them, although I went back to the stock's, I'm glad I have them. The stocks for me is my preferred carry.
