Hogue Hardwood for GP100?

I have a nice Goncalo Alves grip from Hogue on my SP101. The shape is similar to their rubber monogrip but it is bigger all around and that helps. The rubber monogrip for the GP100 is alright but I feel like it too would benefit from being a little bigger all around.

The particular spot I want to fill the most is just behind the backstrap. I can't tell if the modern GP100 has a worse trigger than older ones or if I'm just getting older. Whatever the case, even a slight increase in trigger reach would help to accommodate my long fingers. Does anyone use a Hogue Hardwood on their GP100?

Another thing I'm considering this time around is a stripe cap. I thought it looked funny on the narrow end of an SP101 grip. The GP100 grips have a different shape though. Checkering comes down broadly against the bottom of the GP100 grip and I think it might look good with a stripe cap.

Opinions and feedback are appreciated.
