Thinking about a new set of Hogue grips for my 686.
The question is, smooth or checkered? I have checkered grips on my 1911s, no worries or problems with clothes snagging and printing. But is a revolver grip different?
I had a checkered set of Kingwoods on a Python I used to have and really liked them. That being said I have a smooth set of Hogues on my 686 and GP-100.If it doesn't print or that is not a concern I would say get what you prefer.
