Yes we did it again just what everyone was asking for a M16 mag adapter for the sl8 the kit includes new mag well, usa gas piston, and usa g36 bolt head, you must use mags made in the usa to be legal. Bolt hold open is retained mag release is a arm button on the left side of the mag well.

Feeds flawlessly with 10 different mag mfgs

so now here are the pics.

I don't want to get in the middle of a flame war but Special Weapons has a pretty horrible rep over at AR15.com. I'm just an occasional lurker there so I don't know what started the bashing of this business there or whether it is justified; but if it were me I'd do some research before I sent my business there.

Some of the flame wars , SW et al vs USP40 et al, over at the old HK91.com board were fairly amusing. It seemed to be a fairly polarizing issue.

California Question

My SL-8 hasn't been used, or abused recently, but what is the legality of such a modification. I have at least 25 AR mags of different origin and I have the SL-8 and I carry my evil gun registration papers when any evil gun is removed from my domicile. What's up legally with this?

You guys do realize that this entails cutting of the receiver plastic all the way up to the ejection port, don't you? How many are willing to take a $1200 target rifle and start cutting on it? Whay not just buy an AR if you want large capacity mags? I have a SL8 and you can be sure I'm not gonna do any cutting on it...
