HKP7PSP to be Discontinued?

I was on gunsamerica's site and came across a NIB P7PSP and the seller (Fountain Firearms) claimed that it's the last shipment of P7PSPs. I really hope this is not true!

I just bought a NIB P7 (PSP) at a local gunshow, I hope their not being discontinued. I originally had my heart set on a P7M8, luckily I couldn't find one. If you hold both of them side by side you will find that the P7 (PSP) is much nicer. It has a shorter cocking stroke, snag proof mag release, and fits better in the hand.

This going to make you cry, I paid $820 after very little haggling. :)

JKnight,

Congratulations! What a deal! I wish I'd found a PSP at that price. Now get an Alessi holster for it and you'll be set.

So many pistols, so little money.

The PSP is still listed on H&K's U.S. website but, true, it is not in the 2000 catalog. It is supply and demand. If enough people ask for it, it may be there again.

JKnight,

One of the differences between the P7M8 and the PSP is that the P7M8 has a heat shield in the trigger guard. How warm does it get?
