HK Receiver

I saw some pretty HK receivers advertised in SGN about a month ago. These were made by, I believe, FMP in South America (Brazil?) under liscence by HK and had the cocking tube welded in place. I think the asking price was in the neighborhood of $450.

Does anyone know if they are still available and where?

Dont know about those - check on AR15.com for the link to Hesse Arms.
Hesse makes HK receivers, and I understand they make some dang good ones too.

I've seen a couple of Hesse HK receivers and was not a bit impressed. Their welds were ugly, with many voids and slag everywhere. The ledge that locates the gripframe wasn't square to the receiver and that's just the beginning. The cocking tube would have to be scavenged and welded onto the Hesse receiver also.

This FMP appeared to be complete with cocking tube attached at an HK liscenced factory. It could only be better if it was made in Oberndorf.
