I have an opportunity to buy a brand new in the box never fired HK MR556A1 for about $700 less than what they usually go for.
Before now I never had any interest in owning one, largely due to the price. I feel like you're paying for the "HK" on the side of the lower more than anything. That said they are neat rifles with some cool features (like being able to put the safety on with the hammer down) that set them apart.
I wouldn't pay the usual price you see these days but for $700 less I feel like it would at least be worth considering.
