I carry a Sig 226 .40 w/ 12+1 mags. I was wondering if anyone knew of any double stack higher capacity mags for the Sig 226 in .40 or where I could come by some.
I've never seen any. I've always thought it was a little bizarre that the 226 is only .1" taller than a 229, and so both use 12-round .40S&W magazines (though presumably not the exact same mag), yet somehow the 13-rd 9mm mag in the 229 can upsize to 15rds in a 226...
I figure it has something to do with the geometry of the .40 - my CZ 75B full-size only has 12rd .40S&W mags aswell, as did my XD40 Service...
