Help with Pre-B CZ75! Magazines won't fit

I have a Pre-B CZ75 and took it out with the stock magazines (it was unfired / NIB when I got it) . Had all kinds of issues with the magazines not feeding reliably, so based on people's advice I located two aftermarket magazines.

These won't fit - they get about 3/4 of the way on and will not go any further. I had to use a wooden dowel to force them out because they got so tight.

I now know that not all CZ75 magazines will fit Pre-B models. Does anyone know of any magazines that WILL fit a Pre-B CZ75?

It seems the dividing line is 1985. Later than that a most of the mags made before 2002 will fit, but not the recently made MecGars. You'd still be wise to try the pre-2002 mags before buying them at a gun show.

He also said out of almost 200 sold he has never had anyone say they wouldn't fit their Pre-B.

For about the cost of a couple of Pr-B mags, you can have your magwell opened up to accept the new mags. This is what I did and I am very happy.
