Help! Remington Rand 1911

Saw one that had just been traded in at the gunshop. Very good condition, leather GI holster in good condition, GI double mag pouch (with mags) on a web belt.

Ser no 1376xxx, guy is asking $799. Good deal or not?

That askin price would be right for a 100 percent cherry mint condition one. Good would be more like in the 4-5 hundred range.

Tnaks, Sam! I did some research on the web as to original parts, etc. but couldn't find too much on price.
