Would anyone out there know where I could find a stainless steel recoil spring guide rod for a S&W 410? The one that came from the factory is made out of some polymer/plastic and it already has some groves/flat spots worn in it. I think some of it is from me accidentally letting it fly out of the slide on re-assembly
, and some of it from field stripping. (if I don't do it just right, it dislodges from the barrel notch (I don't know what else to call that) and gets caught between the frame and the barrel while I'm pulling the slide off.
Honestly, I don't even know for sure it's available since all of the searches I've done for it have come up with nothing. But if I'm missing something, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
