Updating the derringer is overdue, IMHO.

Why?

Who wants to carry two shots in the same size it takes to carry 8 or so 9mm cartridges? Point is, I believe the derringer died for a reason. Why port the barrels? .357 in any plastic gun regardless of size is going to hurt.

Well, it's not a .357, for one thing.

For another, it appears much-as in MUCH-thinner than any semi-auto I know of.

The former cop in me screams 'vest gun' when he sees this, I have to admit.

Seems like it would slip into a pocket REALLY easily. But some guys want a Crossbreed Supertuck for everything

the leinad and NAA mini come to mind. basically carry-able curiosities.

Well, with a TI frame it won't be cheap. And I can't help but think that two rounds of 9mm in a small, FLAT package has some appeal-niche appeal, to be sure, but some appeal.
