What is the absolute heaviest bullet available for .243 Win.?

B briandg New member May 12, 2010 #8 No, I don't believe that will stabilize that 117 bullet. It would probably stabilize a 107 grain sierra. 1:10 is pretty much standard, I believe.

4 49willys New member May 12, 2010 #9 It's probably a 10 twist,it is a Rem 700.The patch wasn't very tight in the bore.
O oneoldsap New member May 12, 2010 #10 Speer makes a 105 that shoots very well from a 1in10 barrell and it's a hunting bullet that works !
