Anyone know of a 7mm Mag factory offering with a heavier profile barrel than the Remington Sendero? I don't know why but I prefer the heavier barrel option in my rifles. Since I don't do a stalking and walking type hunting weight isn't too much of a factor. Am I overlooking something?

Savage 110 FP never came in a 7mm Mag to my knowledge.

Maybe I just get a donor and build it the way I want it, or just buy a Sendero.

The Savage 110 FP came in 30-06, 25-06, and 7mm Rem Mag at various times, but not anymore. Pre-accustock and pre-accutrigger IIRC.

It did come in 7mag, because I bought a .308 and my friend bought a 7mag at same time. It did come in .308 Win long action. Some of Savages more intelligent designing at work there.

Guess that dates me doesn't it? I have a 110FP in 25/06 that consistently shoots clover leafs with Remington 100 grain factory loads.
