I just acquired a can of H355 old can, powder is still in excellent shape, can anyone tell me what caliber it was used for? I did find one load in my Nosler book for it in 308, but was wondering what else it could be used in.

I use it in .223 & 30-30 though my powder is WC 844.

SWell, 53.0 gr. of H335, 250 gr. Speer Hot Core, Remington brass and Winchester WLR primer does a very nice 2525 FPS from my 24" barreled .35 Whelen. I did use it in the .308 many long years ago but don't remember the load and my loading notes were lost in the move from Nevavda to Arizona 36 years ago. I wouldn't mind finding a decent supply as I like it in the Whelen.

Sit down with a reloading manual and start cross referencing the calibers you load and see for yourself.....might learn a few things a long the way. I always say invest in yourself....

Don't get the data for H355 mixed up with data for H335.

What Hodgdon H-355 DATA, it does not exist. I doubt that anyone will get it mixed up with H-335.
