H&R M939 22lr Target Revolver

I picked this gun up today in a pawnshop for $175+tax. It's a 9shot revolver with a 5 3/8" heavy vented barrel. Barrel is rounded on top and bottom but flat on both sides. Fixed front w/adj. rear sight. Also has thumb rest for right handed shooter. Made by H&R with a safety lock on bottom of grip S/N is AE34XXX. Can't find it on H&R's site. Any information will be muchly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Those guns were built from 1958 until 1981 without any major changes. I think you overpaid a fair amount, but if it is something you want, then value is subjective. An excellent example should bring closer to $125
