Funny how the media, when confronted with reality running counter to their pet POV that firearms only cause crime and never are used to stop it, refuses to convey that information to the public.

I guess the public's need-to-know is subject to what the press devines to be in their best interest.
And on another point......
When it was pretty clear passenger jets MIGHT be shot down IF they were hijacked, why was there so little discussion of that thought process in the media?
