Gun Belt Suggestions...

Anyone have suggestions for a good gun belt that can be worn with everyday clothing?

I'm a fairly skinny guy and the ones I've seen in the local stores are just too flimsy and just seem to flex too much when holstering and unholstering I guess since my hip are is devoid of much fat.

What do you all use?

Belts

Go to Tucker Gun Leather Rob makes some great stuff. I got mine about 3 years ago and it's still looking good.

Google "The Beltman".

He makes a great gun belt at a reasonable price. When you are carrying a gun concealed it makes it easier if you use a proper belt. The advantage to a gunbelt is, it helps to prevent sagging. This is omportant when trying to "snug" the gun butt up close to you.

If you order a holster from a custom maker I suggest you order a belt from them too. Each maker is different, and cuts their slots a little different. Case in point, my Bruce Gibson Belt fits my Matt Del Fatti Holster just fine. My Ted Blocker Belt is too small and the Holster slides up and down the belt with too much ease. Both belts and holster are 1.50" in width.

Good luck finding a belt you like that will work for you.

Hole Spacing

Most custom belts are made with 1 inch hole spacing. Many, however, offer at no additional charge the option of 3/4 inch or 5/8 inch spacing. I found that out after I ordered my first two but now I always opt for the closer hole spacing as this allows greater adjustment for different clothing and for "winter weight".

Since no one else has mentioned them, take a look at Rafter S belts. Custom and a good value for the dollar. I like mine a lot.
