grips for an old Charter Arms 44special?

I recently bought a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 special, with a 2.5 inch barrel. It was bought new in 1972. Very sweet gun!! The only thing about it is, I can't seem to find anyone making rubber grips for it. Any suggestions? I'm primarily trying to tone down the recoil. Thanks in advance.

What I have on my BUll dog is

Pachmayr's. Its the only ones that I have found that were not wood.
Wood does not work in the summer time, the recoil and the heat and sweat make the gun hard to handle.
Pach's are the best.

One note

The pachs will not tone the recoil down that much, lets face it its a very light gun throwing large bullets. What they do is help control the recoil better.

What sort of loads are you using? The 200 gr. gold dots seem pretty mild, as do the 246 rn for practice. I don't like the rubber grips personally, because they interfere with concealability to a degree and tend to stick to things on the way out, but many have commented on their ability to reduce felt recoil.
