Posted this in the gear section but hardly any one looked at it thought it might be helpful to some:

This web sight gives you an excellent improvement over your current Map source software. Not only do you get more detail but you also get street names. So far the only down side I have seen with it is your screen takes a little longer to open and you can't upload as much map area to your GPS unless you have a card.

It is mostly western states right now but they detail is great and I have a couple of them on my CP and GPS

I don't think I would try downloading anything other than Garmin software into my 76s. Yes road names would be nice, wish i could just update my mapsourse before i download it. Thanks for the link, I will look further into this.

It down loads to your mapsource program and you can choose to use it or your regular mapsource map. It is really helpful if your going back country because the increase in contour lines gives you a better sense of the terrain you will be going through. If you do down load to your unite it does take more memory, for example I used to get all of south east Idaho but now I only get the very southern area, it is still several 100 square miles but if I am driving some where of any great distance not in my area I have to think about what I have on my gps.
