It's not a half bad lil plan, when you stop and think of it. No munching down on pellets, etc. Only problem will be finding an edible material heavy enough to work as shot.

What sort of "fully biodegradable food product" is heavy and solid enough to penetrate game? I guess it would work at short range, but it's a little weird.

Neither. The whole idea is idiotic. If you have pellets in the meat your ammo is no good. It doesn't penetrate.
