Verry nice, I like the stag grips on the 629. I too think snubbies are pretty handy and have their own place. My two Rugers and two S&W's.

nice snubs!!! recently had the chance to buy a $600 3" 624 like yours, ch47. the excuse to not buy it was because i want a 625. now kicking myself.

Not all snubbies remain pristine. Some actually get carried, often in adverse conditions, and for a long time. I have been carrying this'un since 1973. It is semi retired now, but it still stays in a handy, secure place in my home. Out of sight, out of mind, but I could have it in my hand in 5 seconds from my recliner.

I don't have my SW 686 any more. Just my Ruger SS and SW M60 j-frame.

The M60 is especially special to me as it's been at my side since '94. Can't imagine going anywhere without it.

It's an old 1917 Army Colt someone put a shorter barrel on
It's a little bulky for pocket carry though.
