Good source for .45/70 cast bullets?

I've been buying em locally but not happy with the results. Has anybody tried Laser-Cast's 405 grain or 500 grain bullets? Any other good sources?

Thanks

I have shot quite a few LC .45/70 bullets through my Ruger #1 and '86 Win. I have used both the 405 FP and the 500 FP design.

They are just fine as long as you keep the velocities below 1500 fps. If not, you will experience leading no matter what their guarantee states. Accuracy is excellent.

My '86 Win. loves the 500 FP in it's 26" bbl.

I have exchanged many e-mail and phone messages with LC over the leading. They went out of their way to correct the problem I was having but finally agreed that they could not stand behind it using todays higher velocities.

The original 405 FP had only one grease grove, the newer ones have three. This helps some with the leading. The 500 FP has four and you can push them pretty hard w/o leading.
