Well in the last week we've got 15" of snow and the warmest it's been is 18. Saturday morning the wind is supposed to lay down and a high around 30. I think those yotes will be hungry! What do you guys think, distress calls with a few howls mixed in?

I think if they are hungry, straight up distress calls. Pick one that they are sure to be familiar with. They come in faster when they "know whats crying". If that doesn't work toss in a howl or two.

Good Luck on that hunt. I'de say a howl first to get thier attention and then the distress call. Go with a higher pitch on the howls so you don't sound like the biggest dog in the woods.

Lets try it again! No coyotes last weekend, but since then michigan weather kicked in. A week ago 15" of snow, 3 days ago 60 degrees no snow, today 8 degrees 13" of snow. So in the morning we'll see if the yotes will cooperate.

Try to find out where they are bedding/denning and try to get close to there.
Their food choices are getting thin so if they here it they will come!

Good luck and take pictures!! :D
