In exactly 26 days I will be going to the great state of NSW for a pig hunt. This is the second time I've been up there and I love it.
We'll be taking a Tikka 22-250, a Sako .260 (Converted for .308) and the faithful Under and Over shotgun loaded with SG cartridges, and maybe the .22lr.
I hope to take lots of pics so i'll post some when I get back. Hopefully the weather isn't to cold though.

Hope all your hunting is prosperous and safe.

Avoid the 22-250 and 22 LR for pigs. These are small game and varmint rounds. The 22 LR is definintely unacceptable but you will defininitely have to stick to behind the ear shots with the 22-250. All of the projectiles for the cartridge are designed to fragment on impact on small animals.

Sorry CJ but I will haver to disagree with you on the 22-250.

In my experience it has been outright lethal on pigs with proper ammo choices of course.

Good luck on your adventure and please do post up some photos.
